About Me
Over the past three school years in the role of Associate Principal, I have had the rare and exciting opportunity to lead two underperforming elementary schools through a merger. This year, Elementary East and Elementary West have combined to form Elementary, a 1st thru 3rd-grade dual language school of over 1400 students. To add to the uniqueness of the situation, 98% of our over 200 staff members needed to change rooms, major construction building-wide occurred, and a pandemic developed. Because of our hard work, our school went from underperforming to commendable, and I am confident we will continue to improve. This past January, I added the district Educational Technology Coordinator role to my responsibilities.
